Dr. Zecchetto completed his fellowship in Orthopedic Oncology and Adult Reconstruction at the University of Ottawa.
He has devoted his clinical practice to treating patients with musculoskeletal tumors and complex limb trauma. He possesses expertise in the utilization of specialized endoprostheses for patients undergoing bone and joint resections, as well as those experiencing bone loss due to other factors such as revisions or complications stemming from trauma. Furthermore, he employs hybrid techniques that involve the integration of implants with autologous bone grafts and/or bone transplants.
He is focused on personalizing patient treatments through the utilization of innovative technologies, such as 3D navigation and customized implants.
Dr. Zecchetto is involved in training medical professionals and specialists in the field, as well as conducting research in the area.
